Tropical Storm Ida is what started the Nor'ester that hit New Jerseys coast on friday the 13th. The storm headed out to sea late Friday, but not before it caused alot of damage to South Jersey. The cause of the storm Ida was from a tropical storm in the Pacific ocean that came up from the south and met the pressure from the north which caused the nor' easter.
Effects? The effects were that the building's and the house's were flooded and were ruined. Alot of the beaches were eroded and at least 6 deaths were reported due to the storm three days. A boat over turned and three of the fisherman are still missing from it. A man was out in his yard when a tree fell down by the wind and killed him. The last person was a man sufering and died by the waves getting bigger. The storm was effecting the rock jetty's cause the waves were getting over 15ft high and were moving the jetty's over.
